Just posted the Jaaag on craigslist.

Me, being a dummy, tried to drive it with a busted (and electical taped, yeah yeah, it was stupid clearly) overflow return line (even though I had a perfectly good e24 ready to go, first world problems) and blew the HG. After spending a lot of time and effort rebuilding the front of the engine I really don’t want to remove the heads and posted it on CL. So here she is.

FWIW I do not blame Jaguar reliability at all for this. The problems I caused are completely my own, and it was a reliable car until I blew it. Oh well, another expensive lesson learned, and onto the next one. Maybe an Infiniti v8 next time?

I noticed. I feel like maybe I’m setting off the Craigslist automatic flagging algorithm at this point, since my latest got flagged in less than 15 minutes. I’m going to retry tomorrow morning, but wow this is frustrating. On top of that there is literally no way to got ahold of a live person no matter what time of day you call apparently.

Craigslist is basically like the Wild West, they count on it policing itself. Copy and paste your ad into a new ad...sometimes if you repost the old ad it’ll just keep getting taken out for no reason.
